The numbers aren’t pretty. Mizzou (5-4) lost to Baylor 40-32 Saturday.

– Missouri RBs accounted for just 43 rushing yards on 15 carries. With sacks, the Tigers gained 10 yards on the ground.

– Gabbert was especially good in the first half on the way to a 30-52 passing day. He totaled 468 passing yards, his best figure as a Tiger and the second-highest passing total in Mizzou history.

– Danario Alexander had another ridiculous performance, with 13 catches for 214 yards. But only two of those catches came in the second half.

– Jared Perry had seven catches for 145 yards.

– Baylor QB Nick Florence had no problems beating the Missouri defense. He averaged 9.9 yards per attempt, throwing for 427 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was a backup earlier in the year.

– Baylor outscored Missouri 24-5 in the second half.

– Missouri has not scored a second-half touchdown in Big 12 play. The last one was Sept. 25 against Nevada.

– Missouri is now tied with Kansas for last in the much-maligned Big 12 North at 1-4.

– The Tigers hadn’t lost four conference games since 2006.
