By Craig Thomas

Missouri beat Kansas State this afternoon 38-12. The Tigers are now bowl eligible with six wins.

– Danario Alexander was the primary star again today. He had ten catches for 200 yards, including an incredible touchdown reception while double-covered and an 80-yard score in the third quarter.

– Blaine Gabbert had another good statistical game. He threw 20 completions on 27 attempts for 298 yards and three touchdowns (all to Alexander).

– Mizzou did not turn the ball over today.

– Though the rushing totals are still low, Derrick Washington looked better tallying 68 yards on 13 carries, which led the team. Interestingly, WR Jerrell Jackson had three carries for 24 yards.

– Jarrell Harrison made his first interception as a Tiger. He picked off Kansas State quarterback Grant Gregory in the fourth quarter and returned the ball 27 yards.

– Missouri beat Kansas State for the fourth straight year.

– The Tigers kept themselves in contention for the Big 12 North race, but will be knocked out if Nebraska beats Kansas tonight.
